Engage Abilities is a Registered Service Provider of the NDIS and provides services to the NSW Department of Communities & Justice through their Casework Support Scheme. We are looking to appoint **1 House Coordinator**
The House Coordinator plays a crucial role in the development and delivery of safe, effective, quality services to support our participants. The role consists of:
- Lead a team of Support Workers within a 12-unit complex and ensure they understand, embrace, and work toward achieving Engage Abilities’ missions and values.
- Rostering Support Workers according to the participants’ goals. The role requires the Team Leader to participate in the rotating weekend On-Call roster and to cover shifts when necessary.
- Ensuring Support Workers are reporting accurate Case Notes, investigating and providing feedback when necessary.
- Engaging regularly with participants, their families, and all other stakeholders involved in the delivery of support for the participant, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and service delivery.
- Managing risks including compliance with relevant policies, NDIS legislative requirements, Work Health and Safety, and financial risks.
- Managing the participants’ budget during their annual NDIS plan to ensure continuity of support over the year and maintaining accurate participant records.
- Conducting staff supervision and staff mentoring.
**ABOUT YOU**
- You embrace Engage Abilities’ values and missions and are committed to achieving excellence in the community service sector.
- You have a sound knowledge of NDIS legislative requirements gained from at least 2 years of experience supporting a range of people with a disability and complex needs.
- You have experience in a Leadership role that enables you to mentor a team of Support Workers.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills to establish and nurture positive relationships with different stakeholders (participants, families, Support Workers and all others involved in participant support).
- You have a pragmatic approach to conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making and can manage balancing priorities.
- You can participate in the rotating weekend On-Call roster and cover shifts when necessary.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- On call
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)
