Downer is seeking an experienced **HSEQ Delivery Assurance Officer (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) **in the Rail Industry to join our dynamic team. The Delivery Assurance Officer will be responsible for all elements of project delivery, provide support for best practice and criteria of delivery management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant Downer or regulatory frameworks, laws, regulations, policies, standards and guidelines and implement effective compliance monitoring programs
- Participate in developing and monitoring strategies and continuous improvement program to ensure adoption of the management system
- Align to Downer Group directives on Assurance and Management System improvements and requirements
- Co-ordinating and ensuring compliance with suite of ISO Certification through assurance activities and training
- Develop comprehensive audit reports, documenting observations, non-compliances, and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify, evaluate, manage, mitigate, and report risks that impact the delivery of the project and RTS Zero Harm strategic programs and operations
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends and regulatory changes to ensure our rail operations adhere to the latest standards

**About you**
- 3-5 years proven experience in quality evaluation and delivery management in the rail industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management
- Working knowledge on ISO 9001:2015; ISO 19011; ISO 10007; ISO 31000
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to, relevant Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Legislation and practices
- Practical experience developing, maintaining and monitoring an Integrated Management System
- Exposure to Operations and Maintenance processes and decision-making methodology (desirable)
- Proficient at assessing risk, reviewing processes, identifying controls and risk mitigation activities
- Excellent critical thinking skills and exceptional writing skills, in particular reports, procedure development and training programs
