**About the role**:
**As the Delivery Manager for Projects, you will report into the Head of Technology - Supply Chain Logistics and the primary objectives of this role are as follows**:

- Manage demand and oversee the delivery (design, build, test, transition) of all projects and solutions
- Facilitate the collation of development costs, resource planning and development timescales for new initiatives
- Contribute to and deliver the IT Strategy and Roadmap for Supply Chain Logistics
- Provide portfolio level management & governance including oversight and reporting of project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and progress against allocated budget.
- Manage development of small initiatives/requests in a responsive timeframe
- Pro-actively work to reduce the CODB through successful delivery of projects and optimise the IT resource model
- Develop the leadership capability within the team - develop the team culture in line with the Coles Values and Ways of Working

**Good things you’ll need**:

- A strong industry knowledge of Supply Chain Operations including key functional capabilities, systems, and business metrics - a strong knowledge of how these metrics is derived and are managed within the industry is also critical for building business credibility
- Experience managing relationships with senior management teams.
- Experience at managing department and project budgets.
- Experience negotiating with third party suppliers.
- Experience in IT strategy and architecture delivery and alignment with company strategic objectives
- Experience managing diverse teams in a dynamic development environment
- Proven expertise in delivery of large-scale, complex mission-critical IT systems.
- Experience in project management and business change methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

**Commercial Skills and Formal Qualifications**:

- Proven customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to communicate key delivery and transition risks effectively to IT and business stakeholders
- Ability to manage senior stakeholder communications during releases and in significant outage / service level impact situations to enable key recovery decisions to be made with all the required information
- Relevant retail, replenishment, and supply chain expertise.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to lead and manage a large functional area comprising multi-disciplined teams.
- Project management and systems development methodologies.
- In depth expertise in managing teams in a dynamic project environment and with a mix of permanent, contractor, outsourced and offshore teams with different commercial arrangements.
- Managing Commercial outcomes with third party suppliers.
- Ability to facilitate the resolution of difficult technical issues leveraging a range different support arrangements, teams, and personnel to achieve the outcome and minimise service level impacts
- Qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline
