**About the role**:
As a Delivery Manager in the Data team, you will be responsible for data platforms, both on premise and cloud (including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), and oversee the delivery of all the initiatives within the agreed solution architecture.
- Key responsibilities include:_
- Take a lead role in ensuring the consistency and veracity of information across all Coles Information assets including source systems.
- Manage and lead a team of DevOps engineers, developers and support engineers, to deliver Platform initiatives and ensure platform uptime to agreed SLA.
- Stakeholder & Relationship management between Technology and All Coles Group Business teams (Supermarkets, FlyBuys, Coles Express, Liquor, Finance, HR etc.).
- Work closely with software vendors on fulfilment of software development demands
- To coach, facilitate and provide technical guidance to cross functional squads to deliver end-to-end technology solutions that result in improved value for our business, in close alignment to our strategy.

**About you and your skills**:

- Proven experience in on-premises and cloud data technologies, incl. Oracle, MicroStrategy, MS Azure, Databricks and Snowflake.
- Proven experience and proficiency in Recruitment and build of productive Data platform Engineering and Delivery team.
- Proven expertise in leading a BI Enterprise CoE of large-scale, complex mission-critical BI systems, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience managing relationships with senior management teams.
- Experience at managing department budgets.
- Proven experience managing a large team - both onshore and offshore
- Experience negotiating with third party suppliers.
- Experience in project management and business change methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Translation and alignment of business strategies into IT solutions.
- Strong Product / Software Development Management background
