**About the role**

Directly reporting to our General Manager Information Security and Risk this is a highly sought-after greenfield opportunity for an experienced Head of Security Delivery to establish and own delivery of all security operations and security technology capabilities for Coles and govern the delivery of security program initiatives to execute on security strategic roadmaps.

You will have a strong focus on managing risk and compliance. You will implement and embed tools and mechanisms into your team with processes to support on-going monitoring and reporting. In this role you will be accountable for individual and team compliance with company values, policies, and procedures (including Coles Code of Conduct) and all applicable external laws and regulations.

**About you & your skills**

You will be an experience leader within cyber security delivery and operations function, with a passion for driving for change, diversity, and delivery across the organisation.

You’ll also have:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in security service delivery, security operations or program delivery roles
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse, inclusive team of technical and non-technical team members
- Experience leading delivery of security programs in complex organisations
- Demonstrated ability to leverage and build external relationships for security benchmarking
- Experience with different ways of working and project delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile) and enabling technologies
- Proven capabilities in vendor, partner and stakeholder relationship management including the monitoring and maintenance of outsourced agreements and project delivery to agreed service levels and timeframes
- Demonstrable people leadership experience, strategic thinking, and experience in influencing senior stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
- Relevant security certifications beneficial
- Demonstrated track record of leading teams and solutions to achieve security and business outcomes.
- Understanding of applicable legal and regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, PII and SOCI Act.
