**Seeking a competent individual with experience using and operating an Invasive Ventilator and Tracheostomy care.**

**Must have availability for AM, PM and Active night shifts.**

**The role will involve**:

- Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance)
- Bowel Care & Catheter Care
- Tracheostomy Care
- Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists)
- Transportation and supporting social engagement
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Monitor and maintain clients ventilator machine
- Professional or lived experience supporting someone with a disability
- Experience in providing high level care
- Experience in personal hygiene and bowel care
- Experience using a hoist
- Experience using a ventilator
- Flexible and good availability

**Essential criteria**:

- An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person
- centered support
- Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach
- A valid driver's license
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- The legal right to work in Australia
- Current Police Check
- Current CPR & First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Experience in Catheter Care (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Experience using an Invasive Ventilator and equipment (required)
- NDIS Screening Check number (required)
- First Aid & CPR Certification (required)
- Experience in Complex Bowel Care (using a suppository) (required)
- Experience with Tracheostomy Care (required)
- Australian Driver Licence (required)
