We are currently seeking skilled **compassionate**, and **reliable** Support Workers to provide in-home support to elderly Australians in **Canterbury** and surrounding areas.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

As a Support Worker, you’ll help clients **live independently**, **feel respected**, and stay **connected to their community** by assisting with:

- **Personal Care** - Supporting clients with showering, grooming, and daily hygiene routines
- **Home Cleaning** - Household cleaning and laundry tasks are a **core part of the role**, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
- **Meal Preparation** - Cooking simple, nutritious meals
- **Shopping** - Assisting with errands or accompanying clients to the shops
- **Appointments** - Providing transport or escorting clients to medical and other appointments
- **Respite & Social Support** - Engaging clients in **companionship**, social outings or home-based activities
- **Wellbeing Monitoring** - Observing and reporting changes in physical or emotional health

This role involves **travelling between clients homes**, so you'll need your own reliable car.

**What You’ll Need**
- A **genuine passion for supporting others** and making a positive impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- **Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Aging Support**, with accompanying academic transcript _(students nearing completion welcome to apply)_
- **Current Victorian Driver’s License** and reliable, insured vehicle
- **Police Check** or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- **COVID-19 vaccination evidence** (as per public health orders)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $42.28 - $76.10 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
