You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing high quality support that builds capacity and encourages clients to increase their skills and independence. **Your Role** - Use initiative to enhance someone's quality of life - Provide support that is person centred and enables each client to express choice and control in the types of support and activities offered - Duties could include: medication support, personal care, domestic assistance, manual handling, meal preparation, following support plans, challenging behaviour and complex physical needs. - Be sensitive and understanding to the specific needs of each client paying attention to the cultural needs and preferences of each client **Essential Criteria** - Driver's License and Own Reliable Car is a must - Collaborating in a team setting - Understanding the issues faced by people who are ageing and/or have a disability - Demonstrated experience in building rapport and trust with people - At least 6 months experience working with people with complex needs - Ability to work on a rotating roster - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Quality Health Care are committed to Equal Employment Opportunity, Ethical Practices, and the principles of Cultural Diversity.
