**We are seeking an experienced, proactive and skilled Community Support Workers to join our experienced and highly skilled team in and around Sydney Metropolitan.**

The successful applicant will be positive, reliable and resilient and will be experienced in supporting clients with a complex profile. You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing high quality support that builds capacity and encourages clients to increase their skills and independence.

**Your Role**
- Use initiative to enhance someone's quality of life
- Provide support that is person centred and enables each client to express choice and control in the types of support and activities offered
- Duties could include: medication support, personal care, domestic assistance, manual handling, meal preparation, following support plans, challenging behaviour and complex physical needs.
- Be sensitive and understanding to the specific needs of each client paying attention to the cultural needs and preferences of each client

**Essential Criteria**
- Driver's License and Own Reliable Car is a must
- Collaborating in a team setting
- Understanding the issues faced by people who are ageing and/or have a disability
- Demonstrated experience in building rapport and trust with people
- At least 6 months experience working with people with complex needs
- Ability to work on a rotating roster
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Salary**: $23.00 - $41.00 per hour

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
