This role is crucial in driving operational excellence across the retail network, improving store processes, ensuring the efficient execution of key initiatives and supporting strategic change projects. The Store Optimisation Coordinator helps streamline retail operations, enhance customer service models and contributes to overall retail performance.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist in the development and evolution of operational excellence standards for the retail business, including customer service, process improvements and VM execution
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of key store processes and standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency, alignment and best practices across brands while maintaining any brand-specific nuances and strategies
- Identify and document opportunities for reducing in-store activities (partnering with Loss Prevention, Audit, Compliance and Heads of Retail) to streamline operations and enhance efficiency for improved retail performance
- Maintain regular communication with Risk, Audit and Compliance teams, ensuring store-level processes meet updated cadences and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Heads of Retail and Brand General Managers to refine and develop updated customer service models
- Support the coordination of strategic project roadmaps, including initiatives like RFID implementation, mobile POS and traffic counters
- Track and report progress on strategic change projects, providing updates to the Store Optimisation Manager and other stakeholders.
**Key Capabilities**
- Previous experience in a similar role within a retail environment
- Experience in coordinating strategic initiatives such as RFID implementation, mobile POS and retail traffic counters
- Proficient in process improvement methodologies and able to document and streamline standard operating procedures
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions.
