**About the role**

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic casual disability support workers in the Redland Bay and Cleveland areas. Our participants are looking for people that are passionate about working in our industry to continue this success. You will be part of a dynamic team that delivers genuine support in all domains of life to enable access to quality of life with dignity, respect and social inclusion. Our staff provide in-home support or Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

Essential to this role is your ability to work flexible hours including morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Sunday, including sleepovers when required.

**Experience required**:

- Prompting assistance - personal care and managing appointments.
- Community Access
- Providing emotional support
- Experience in pressure injury care
- Assistance with budgeting
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation

**Qualifications required**:

- Experience supporting participants living with disability. Qualification in disability or relevant area such as aged care or community services is highly desired
- Must have a valid drivers licence and own vehicle
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
