We are seeking an experienced and passionate Meals on Wheels Coordinator for parental leave coverage in Canterbury.

**About the Role**

In this high energy, people focused role, you will be responsible for the coordination of the delivery of meals to our Support at Home clients. Duties would include:

- **Client Service and Service Delivery**
- Coordinate the delivery of meals to clients living at home.- Conduct the necessary assessments and reviews of clients.- Keep clients informed and up to date with service information.- **Finance and Administration**
- Involvement with billing, invoicing, receipting and balancing monies from clients.- Responsible for the onsite administrative tasks such as food ordering and menu processing.- Maintain appropriate documentation including client and volunteer records as required.- Manage and respond to My Aged Care referrals.- **Volunteer Coordination**
- Coordinate roster arrangements for volunteers.- Induct new volunteers into the Meals on Wheel service.- Monitor volunteer performance.**Hours of Work**:

- Fixed Term Full Time
- December 2025 to December 2026
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9am - 5pm

**Essentials**:

- At least 1 year of experience coordinating a Meals on Wheel program or related program.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver community programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Full Driver’s Licence

**Desirable**:

- Experience in coordinating staff and volunteers
