We are seeking a passionate and proactive People & Culture Advisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. This role supports the full spectrum of employee experience, with a strong focus on engagement, wellbeing, onboarding, and performance support. You will collaborate across the organisation to ensure our people practices reflect our values and enhance our employee experience. **Key responsibilities**: - Support the design and delivery of initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and belonging. - Coordinate and continuously improve onboarding, offboarding, and milestone experiences (e.g., anniversaries, promotions). - Partner with Director People & Culture to track and act on feedback from engagement surveys and employee check-ins. - Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to employees and line managers on policies, procedures, and best practices - Support and guide Line managers through performance management, employee relations, and case management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create consistent, high - quality people experiences aligned with our values and culture. - Support internal communications and culture initiatives (e.g., events, recognition programs, DEI efforts). - Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and ensure compliance with legal and organisational requirements - Assist with policy rollout, internal campaigns, and continuous improvement of people-related processes. - Assist in preparing reports, data analysis, and insights to support decision-making - Support learning and development initiatives, and cyclical HR programs - Support with fortnightly payroll activities **About You**: - Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. - 2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role or similar, ideally in a fast-paced or values-led environment. - Strong understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and people operations. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. - High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. **The added perks**: - Access to LinkedIn Learning platform. - Employee Assistance Program. - Qoctor, online telehealth - Flexible working - 2 weeks "Work beyond Borders". - 1 full day of leave, each year for work anniversaries **Who are we?** Emesent is a world-leader in drone autonomy, LiDAR mapping, and data analytics.
