Reporting to our Operations Manager, Service Delivery, this is a newly created role that provides leadership and support to our doctors (radiologists) to ensure our patient reporting workflow is triaged effectively across our VIC/TAS business unit.
Using your skills and knowledge from your background in a medical imaging technician or radiology support, this is a critical role that assists in overseeing the effective and efficient management of resources and workloads on a daily basis, as well as managing after-hours and regional support for some areas where there are critical shortages of doctors. Key duties include:
Workload Management - Supporting the provision of radiology reporting services on a day-to-day basis by triaging and managing workflow.
Workflow, Productivity and Service Improvements - Identifying new ways of improving workflow and participating in workforce planning and management for Radiologists, in order to optimize and manage resources and staffing levels across the business.
Relationship Management & Leadership - Developing and maintaining strong working relationships and promoting and supporting initiatives designed to improve staff and doctor engagement and the culture and climate of the business.
Leading a small team of experts, you will work to bring together the workflow coordination teams across the VIC/TAS business unit, establishing a supportive, responsive and proactive culture in the workflow team. Your leadership will be key to bringing our business unit towards a shared view of how we work to maximise our efficiency as a network organisation.
You are driven, energetic and proactive in maximising efficiencies and processes. Key to your success is your ability to understand and navigate support critical needs using your exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills with leadership teams and doctors.
