**The Opportunity**
Our federal client is seeking a talented Risk Officer to join the Risk Advisory Branch to support one or more allocated Branch's to help mitigate their operational and project risks. Working in a national team this is a GREAT initial 18-month term with potential to extend, based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
- Hybrid Work Model (2 days from home)
- Circa. $110-115K package inc super per annum on an hourly rate basis

**The Role**
- Provide informed risk advice on allocated portfolios and operations within your allocated Business Unit or Branch
- Participate in workshops to identify and control risks
- Contribute to achievement of annual risk implementation plans, frameworks etc
- Undertake risk reviews
- Establish and monitor KRI's and update the Risk Management System (Archer)
- Analysis and identification of Fraud Risk
- Establishment of Controls
- Assist develop plans, reports, briefs and other required documentation
- Project Leadership
- Analysis of emerging trends through data analysis

**Selection Criteria**
- Junior to Intermediate level experience in Risk (project and operational)
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks based on ISO31000 or CPS220
- Experience running risk workshops and reviews
- Development and monitoring key risk indicators (KRI's) and Controls
- Experience with Financial Fraud Risk - HIGHLY regarded
- Experience with a well known Risk Management System (RMS) eg ServiceNow, Archer
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels up to Executive
- Government experience highly regarded

Australian Citizenship is required to clear federal background checks.
