Internal Audit is the Third line of defence in ensuring the effectiveness of the organisation’s controls in detecting, preventing and correcting risk.

The purpose of this role is to assess the effectiveness of project governance frameworks, risk management practices, controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Opportunity for a strong Program/Project Manager, who is passionate to join Internal Audit.**:

- **Oversee the audit planning, execution and reporting of a portfolio of project assurance activities.**:

**In this Manager role, you will**
- Understand the organisation’s project portfolio and support the Head of Program Assurance to identify significant projects requiring independent assurance by Audit.
- Manage a portfolio of concurrent audits focusing on providing assurance over large scale projects and change initiatives.
- Prepare well-structured, clear, and succinct audit reports.
- Socialise audit reports with project stakeholders and agree action items for resolution.
- Establish effective ongoing working relationships with key project stakeholders to facilitate audit delivery.
- Contribute to Annual and Dynamic Planning as directed.
- Deliver on the Internal Audit Strategy.

**What you will bring**
- Proven experience in project delivery/project assurance.
- Project management, implementation expertise and transformation delivery experience.
- Advanced leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
- Proven ability to assess governance on transformation initiatives with large operational impact.
- Substantial experience with stakeholder engagement and management.
- Internal Audit and Financial Services experience is highly desirable.
- Highly organised with structured problem solving.
