In the role of Financial Crime and Fraud Audit Director, you will join Internal Audit team that's doubling down on winning together.
Each day you will go above and beyond to:
- Oversee and manage the delivery of the annual Audit Plan and risk coverage for the Financial Crime and Fraud Audit team.
- Oversee multiple audits simultaneously and be first point of escalation for Audit Senior Managers.
- Deliver strategic assurance initiatives to ensure Audit is delivering assurance that is best in market, integrating AI, automation, data analytics, and continuous monitoring to deliver scalable, risk-focused audits.
- Work dynamically with subject matter experts in Audit, peers, stakeholders to deliver a robust suite of assurance activities to a high standard.
- Responsibility for resource allocation on audit assignments and sequencing of each assignment within the Audit plan.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to facilitate smooth delivery of audit findings.
- Engage across the Audit function to support delivery of assignments where third party risk is included for assurance.
What you'll bring
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey assurance findings and bigger picture themes with senior management and in risk committees.
- Strong influencing skills and proven capability to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams within Audit/assurance functions/professional services firm.
- Deep experience in Financial Crime in one or more of the following fraud, anti-money laundering & counter-terrorism financing and sanctions and commitment to further enhance these competencies. Global experience would be highly regarded.
- Experience and understanding of technology and data risks relevant to financial crime controls and compliance, including steering teams to assess these risks.
- Experience leading teams to assess financial crime and fraud risks using data analytics.
- Proven team leadership capability to lead a diverse and highly engaged team.
