We currently have an opportunity for a **WHS Advisor** to join our team in Sydney. You will provide expert health, safety, and environment technical advice and support to management and staff across the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit.

Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you can also expect to be involved in the advancement of our Zero Harm function: from innovating processes, to assisting on a variety of internal projects.

**What you’ll do**

The role has lots of creative scope:

- Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support on Health & Safety (Zero Harm) matters.
- In conjunction with the Zero Harm Manager, support the development of a manager-led Zero Harm leadership culture within Social Infrastructure.
- Support the delivery and implementation of the Zero Harm strategy and ensure achievement of performance objectives within agreed timeframes.
- Work closely with Line of Business leaders, contract managers, and employees to ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct timely investigations, provide training/coaching, and facilitate access to information and resources related to Zero Harm, risk analysis, and legislative obligations.

**What you’ll bring**
- Extensive experience in a similar role.
- It is a requirement to have formal work health and safety qualifications (Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline) and you must be trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology.
- You must have a current full driver's license.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental management systems such as ISO45001/ISO14001 or equivalent standards.
- Environmental management systems qualification would be highly regarded.
- WHS/OHSMS and/or EMS Auditor qualifications or accreditations would be highly regarded.
