**Project Officer**

The Project Officer will report to the Partnerships Manager and works within the team that delivers partnerships and Sector Development initiatives, that supports the broader objectives of economic empowerment for First Nations Australians.

This role will prepare partnership submissions for the Prime Minister & Cabinet Social Enterprise Grant, managing all stages of the partnership life cycle, from contract inception, monitoring, tracking, and evaluation.

**Key Duties**:

- Manage partnerships
- Maintain administrative systems
- Monitor, track and align delivery of partnership agreements
- Accurately capture and analyse data

**Key Understandings**:
**Displays Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural capability**:

- awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies, culture and contemporary issues
- the demonstrated ability to liaise, communicate and negotiate sensitively and effectively with individuals and communities.
- Experience in managing contracts and/or projects end to end
- Ability to work independently within a process and set framework.
