**The Role**
This is a **full-time position**as an **Evening cleaning supervisor** based at Waurn Ponds **,** Geelong. You will be part of the Hospitality Department and lead our Environmental Services Assistants (cleaners and patient transport orderlies) to deliver service excellence in a positive, safe work culture. You will report to the Hospitality Services Operations Manager and work closely with the Hospital Co-Ordinator.
This position offers generous evening allowances, professional development, salary sacrificing arrangements, established processes and policies to support your role in delivering high quality, streamlined service.
Shift Timings -10:00PM to 6:00AM (**Opportunity for flexible working days)**
**You will make an impact by**:
- Providing team leadership, mentoring and promoting staff wellbeing
- Delivering high standards in infection control and safe work procedures
- Driving efficiencies
- Monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
**To be successful in this role**
- You will have well developed supervisory skills. You will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate the ability to lead, guide and support a team of cleaners.
- You will provide daily shift toolbox talks and leadership to our cleaners and patient transport orderlies teams and maintain smooth, safe, and efficient operations. This includes training, mentoring, and rapid problem solving. As an exemplary role model, you will set the tone for outstanding customer service and deliver high quality outcomes for patients and their families.
- You will be supporting the and Head Chef and Hospital Services Operations Manager in all aspects of the Food Services operation including monitoring policy and procedure, identify equipment and service needs, compliance, promoting staff wellbeing and adhering to food safety standards.
**You will have experience.**
- Co-ordinating 10+ staff on shift
- Greater than 2 years’ experience in a substantial food services operation, preferably in hospital, aged care or hotel room service operations
- Function co-ordination

The annual salary range for full time will range from -** AUD $71,000 - $84,000**(includes Night time loading) + super + entitlements.
