**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for 2 passionate and proactive Planning Assistant to join our Transport Advisory team within our Sydney business unit, on a full time casual basis. As an Assistant Transport Planner there is a requirement to develop an understanding of provide input into a range of services including advice relating to land use / transport, transport demand forecasting and assessment, and different transport modes.

**You will**:
Provide assistance with the provision of a range of services including advice relating to transport planning for all modes, travel demand forecasting and impacts of transport systems, master plans, land use/transport interaction and traffic impacts of developments.

Assist the team in the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects and other national initiatives;
Provide support to Transport Advisory team in servicing client requirements, as directed.

Work alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to

specification, to deadlines and within budget.

Act professionally and represent the firm in a positive manner when attending meetings with clients or authorities.

Provide assistance in co-ordination of sub-consultants, where necessary.

Provide assistance in managing internal and external clients.

Provide input into draft proposals, tenders and submissions for potential projects.

**About You**:
Working towards completion of relevant degree in progress (e.g. Engineering, Town Planning or related discipline)

Proven skills in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
