Managing the product development of all apparel and accessories for this Australia brand. You will have experience managing complex critical paths to deliver superior quality product on time and within budget. It's an exciting time within our client as they have recently gone through a rebranding process and have seen excellent results in the market. The role manages a small team across product development and sourcing, so previous team and supplier management experience is required. Due to the nature of the role we need a strong communicator who is able to influence cross-functionally to drive results.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop products and ranges that adhere to the brand identity for each retailer and brand partner.
- Define and execute the seasonal product range and plan across all categories and retailers.
- Manage the collection and analysis of consumer market insights and competitors, sharing findings with your team to ensure the consistency of new product development.
- Develop products and categories in line with agreed pricing and margins.
- Input of creativity and insights to look for new opportunities with innovative products and new categories for your brands.
- Work closely with, consignment, contract manufacturing, wholesale customers, new and existing suppliers in sourcing and developing products to suit the customer needs.
- Sourcing and ordering of all seasonal fabrications within agreed timeframe of sampling, bulk requirements, lab dips, print strike-offs.
- Sign off on ranges presented by the design and technical team in time to meet deadlines
- Working with QA to consistently improve all fit and quality of product
- Working with external supplier partners to drive gross margin enhancement through innovative and effective supply chain solutions
- Nurturing and expanding all supplier relationships.

- Experience with global sourcing and supplier management
- Experience sourcing factories and fabrics
- An understanding of garment construction, make and fit
- Experience with fabric specifications and trends
