**Purpose of the Role**

BGIS is seeking an experienced **Facilities Manager**to oversee facilities operations at a large, complex, and critical Department of Communities & Justice (DCJ) site based in **Silverwater, NSW**. Reporting directly to the **CSNSW & YJ Operations Manager**, you will work collaboratively with both client and BGIS teams to ensure the efficient, compliant, and safe delivery of all contracted services—driving client satisfaction, continuous improvement, and commercial performance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver all FM services in accordance with contract obligations and KPIs
- Manage contract financials, budgets, invoicing, cost control, and reporting
- Lead and mentor a team of Facilities Supervisors and Coordinators
- Oversee subcontractor performance, documentation, compliance, and WHS&E standards
- Manage asset planning, maintenance programming, and CMMS accuracy
- Maintain positive client relationships through meetings, reporting, and proactive issue resolution
- Ensure legal, regulatory, and system compliance (QMS, OH&S, EMS)
- Promote risk management, contractor safety, and continuous improvement culture

**Education, Experience & Skills**

**Essential**:

- Strong experience in property, real estate, or facilities management, ideally in government or high-security sectors
- Proven success in managing subcontractors, budgets, projects, and maintenance operations
- Deep understanding of QA, OH&S, and environmental systems
- Financial acumen including budget forecasting and invoice reconciliation
- CMMS proficiency (e.g., BEIMS or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Resilience, adaptability, and people leadership in high-pressure settings

**Desirable**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Business or related discipline
- Experience in justice, defence, or high-risk operational environments

**Workplace Flexibility**

This role is based **full-time on-site**at our client’s **Silverwater facility**, a complex and high-security location.
