**The Role**
Depending on the specific position, you will undertake a range of the duties set out below.

**Intelligence Strategy and Policy**
- Develop policy in accordance with Defence and Government strategic priorities, and provide advice to the Chief of Defence Intelligence.
- Engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure a One Defence position to key Defence Intelligence Enterprise issues.
- Drive implementation and evolution of the Defence Intelligence Enterprise Strategy, and subordinate frameworks and policy positions.
- Develop and institutionalise a Five Eyes Defence Intelligence Enterprise innovation program.

**Intelligence Priorities Management**
- Lead the development and delivery of the Secretary and CDF Priority Intelligence Requirements, a key output that drives the strategic focus of the Defence Intelligence Group and Defence Intelligence Enterprise.
- Drive Defence Intelligence mission activities with the National Intelligence Community.
- Manage the Defence Intelligence Prioritisation Steering Group.
- Lead a small team in the development of a focussed Intelligence Support Concept to contribute to Defence Intelligence Enterprise-wide strategic intelligence planning efforts.
- Develop input and provide policy advice on a range of Defence, National Intelligence Community and whole-of government issues.

**Partnership Coordination Office**
- Support collaboration and partnership with a key Defence stakeholder agency.
- Assist in engagement with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Government direction.
- Assist in the development of policy advice to the Chief of Defence Intelligence to support strategic partnership outcomes, and work closely with whole-of-government stakeholders to implement strategic direction.

**DIG Intelligence Engagement**
- Manage the Defence Intelligence Hub, a key Defence Intelligence Group capability that enables increased engagement between intelligence, policy, and operations-focused stakeholders.
- Develop and drive a comprehensive DIG stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Manage the DIG strategic international engagement function, including working closely with stakeholders (internal and external) and international partners, and facilitating senior level engagements.
- Provide the secretariat function for the Intelligence Enterprise Committee - a tier three Defence Senior Committee chaired by the Chief of Defence Intelligence.
- Support management of the relationship between the DIG and the National Intelligence Community.
- Streamline DIG interaction with parliamentary and ministerial coordination areas of Defence, including leading whole-of-DIG contributions to broader Defence activities.
