The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Industry and Administration Team Leader to provide a critical role within Corrections Victoria.
**About the Business Unit**
The Offender Services and Reintegration division of Corrections Victoria (CV) is responsible for providing best practice interventions which aim to reduce the risk of reoffending including case management, education, training and employment, prison industries and rehabilitation and reintegration supports. The division contributes to a safer community by supporting a safe and humane corrections system that provides opportunities for rehabilitation, supports reintegration and works toward Aboriginal self-determination.
Prison Industries operates over 65 individual industries across 13 sites to provide people in prison with a variety of employment, training and learning opportunities, while also aiming to deliver value for the public through goods and services provided to both private customers and internal customers - both prisons and government.
**About the Role**
The role will assist members of the Systems & Operations and Commercial Teams to provide enhanced customer service and decision-making by ensuring reliable and accurate data is available, lead and support the Prison Industries Administration Team to assure the efficient processing of customer orders, data and a range of administrative tasks. The role will work towards and support the achievement of Business Plan targets and Prison Industries strategic priorities.
Some of your duties will include:
- Lead and support the Industries Administration Team, undertaking all operational functions including professional supervision/coaching, PDP processes and provision of feedback and guidance
- Ensure timely, accurate entry of inputs into Oracle to enhance customer service and business decision-making through the use of accurate and available data
- Organise and oversight administration and information management systems e.g. TRIM, EBC, Sharepoint

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Oracle suite of tools as particularly applied within a manufacturing and corrections environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with information technology systems including Oracle, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
**Qualifications**
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in Administration, Finance, Accounting or related business discipline is highly desirable.
