Manager, Front End Sales

At Metso, the Technology Managers in the Asia Pacific (APA) Minerals Front End Sales team take responsibility for profitable growth of their relevant technology(s) in the Market Area (MA). Responsible for driving Capital Equipment Sales, they lead and manage the business plan for their technology in the APA Minerals Market Area. Working with the Minerals APA Team and the broader Metso Organization, the Technology Managers are driven to ensure we win deals in a competitive market by providing value and excellent service to Minerals APA customers. Together we will provide the best value solution and exceptional customer service to our clients in APA. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Develop and manage customer relationships - Ensure proactive sales and leads generation in assigned Mineral's customers to enable growing OR - “Open the doors” for TM and other Metso sales representatives and ensure opportunity follow-up - Develop and manage customers / territory growth strategy, i.e., to introduce new offering and products and grow market share in existing ones - Negotiate T&C - Promote aftermarket offering while negotiation new equipment sales - Conduct asset walks at client sites and identify opportunities for replacement or service opportunities1 - Coordinate with aftermarket account management to develop brownfield / replacement opportunities (installed base) - End User of Salesforce as per company guidance - Customer-facing time >75% - includes travelling TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED - Minimum 10 years’ experience in the mining industry - Proven business and industry understanding - Strong technical understanding of the technology - A track record in developing sales opportunities and closing deals - Customer mindset - Strategy formulation for winning deals - Strong academic background in technical/engineering disciplines - Ability to effectively work with others in a matrix organization from a range of cultures within a diverse political, economical, technical and social environment - Regular travel as required WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
