As Agile Practices Lead, you will be working with teams to introduce agile ways of working to improve the delivery, responsiveness, engagement and collaboration practices to better support the stakeholders we serve.
As Agile Practices Lead, you will be working with teams to introduce agile ways of working to improve the delivery, responsiveness, engagement and collaboration practices to better support the stakeholders we serve.
**Key Responsibilities for the Role**:
- Implementing an Agile way of working and ensuring it is understood and enacted by the teams
- Assist with coaching the team on agile principles and practices to grow agile maturity, become resilient and high performing through coaching / mentoring and demonstration of thought leadership
- Help everyone understand the spirit of Agile (teams and key stakeholders)
- Provide program and team level coaching of department / program teams on Agile practices, principles, roles, artifacts, and mechanics
- Leading teams and their partners as they learn and adopt Agile practices by supporting them through coaching, mentoring, facilitating and teaching
- Responsible for agile processes and improvement within the team
- Write agile methodologies and development practices and will help to implement those
- Guide teams through the development and adoption of agile delivery for services (including service requests, minor enhancements, work packages and projects)
- Identify formal team training requirements if required
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as lead daily stand-up meetings and be responsible for sprint planning, showcases, retrospectives and other Agile related activities.
- Identify roadblocks and impediments to the momentum of the teams.
- Support the teams through the refinement and maintenance of the backlog.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Providing reporting of the progress of the teams including standard metrics, risks and issues.
**Key Experience required**:
- 5+ years' experience leading delivery teams as Scrum Master/Agile Coach
- A strong understanding of Agile, its behaviours, tools and techniques
- Experience in Kanban
- Experience in implementing agile ways of working within an ICT BAU/Operations setting
- An understanding of backlog tracking, backlog prioritisation, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing environment and pivot quickly to adapt to changing circumstances
- Experience in successfully engaging with vendors and working collaboratively with key client stakeholders/representatives and internal ICT support and operational personnel.
**Highly Desirable**:
- Qualifications in SAFe
- Qualifications in Organisational Change Management
- Knowledge and/or experience in ITIL
