We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our small team at Bruny Island Cheese Co. as a Cellar door retail sales assistant. We’re searching for someone who has a passion for great food, great service and particularly a love of great cheese.

Previous experience in food retail is highly valued and full training will be provided for the right applicant.

The role is based at our cellar door on Bruny Island. You’ll be required to meet and greet customers, provide high levels of product knowledge and demonstrate your excellent customer service skills to all customers (internal and external). You’ll present product tastings, and assist and serve customers in our store. The position includes opening and closing of the cellar door, cleaning and other general duties associated with a hospitality business.

We’re a small team, work hard and have fun doing it The environment we work in is fast paced and energetic and you’ll get to be part of a small business that’s growing. You’ll need a can-do attitude and must be able to work closely within a small team. We offer an excellent rate of pay and the opportunity to grow and progress with the business is very real.

The position is a Full-Time Permanent Position.
