We are currently recruiting a Digital Subject Matter Expert to join our business. This role is based in Canberra, ACT.

As a Digital Subject Matter Expert, your responsibilities will include:
Providing written technical advice Defence representatives.

Providing written technical advice to Defence representatives.

Developing, supporting and leading Defence combat system design activities.

Generating and drafting detailed technical implementation design and solution documentation.

Developing and presenting formal technical proposals.

As required, providing summary details of integration forums and interaction.

Collaborating with Defence staff and external stakeholders.

Proposing innovation activities to assess emerging technologies.

Coordinating and leading stakeholder engagement forums.

To be successful in the role of a Digital Subject Matter Expert, you will need to bring with you:
Demonstrated knowledge in networking, C4 software, Tactical Data Links (TADL), enterprise architecture, distributed systems.

Knowledge in tactical networking bearers and waveforms and strategic networking bearers and waveforms.

Demonstrated experience in software designing and management.

Knowledge in autonomous systems.

Detailed experience in Generic System Architectures (GxA) standards.

Demonstrated knowledge in fires systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Confidence and self-motivation.

Whilst not essential, the following qualifications/skills are desirable:
Demonstrable experience in the operations, management, training, analysis, repair, rectification and integration of C4 systems and their sub-systems.

Knowledge and understanding of future Land C4 integration

Land programs and / or Defence Capability Model (i.e. Capability Life Cycle) experience.

Applicants will also need to hold an existing Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance of at least Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1).
