**About the role**

As a CyberCX Principal Security Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to manage existing and create new customer relationships, enabling CyberCX to be recognized as a world leader in the Cloud Security domain. They support the Director in resourcing, forecasting, pre-sales advice and practice growth.

As an experienced Principal Security Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking highly complex and sizable cloud security consultancy projects and providing security expertise to customers and others in their team.

**Duties**
- Work with our customer base to deliver cloud security services in line with the agreed scope, CyberCX standards, and relevant industry standards or frameworks
- Lead highly complex, dynamic and sizable cyber security projects in cloud security. Core responsibilities may entail but are not limited to engagement planning, stakeholder management, engagement governance, risk management, delivery management and quality assurance
- Work with the CyberCX Cloud Security IRAP team in delivering high quality assessments of cloud solutions and services
- Prepare and present high-quality deliverables (written or verbal) in line with the agreed scope, customer requirements and relevant standards. For example, findings and recommendations report
- Manage, coach and mentor junior staff to deliver engagement outcomes and to assist junior staff with their professional development

**Skills & experience**
- Experience with and exposure to cloud technologies and platforms, as well as in-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and practices
- IRAP certification favourable or experience and/or involvement in IRAP activities
- Experience and knowledge of Australian Government standards such as the PSPF and ISM
- Ideally hold one major security certification (CISM, CISA, CISSP, ISO LA/LI)
- Cloud security certification and/or cloud vendor certifications preferred
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
- Australian citizenship and willing to obtain a government security clearance
