**About the Role**

The **_National Community Fundraising Manager_** is part of the Revenue team, and you will be managing and growing the community fundraising portfolio (excluding motoring events). Your focus will be on developing and optimising the success of community fundraising activities and events. You will use your collaborative community fundraising skills, working across community grants, third party beneficiary events, support group fundraising and local business partnerships. You will be driving continuous improvement of best practice fundraising strategies and seeking new ways to maximise fundraiser engagement to drive revenue growth.

**Experience and Knowledge**

Preferred:

- 5+ years’ experience gained in not-for-profit fundraising
- Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising standards, practices and guiding principles
- Demonstrated track record of achieving fundraising targets
- Digital and community fundraising experience will be highly regarded

**Qualifications and Training**

Preferred:

- Tertiary qualifications in marketing / events or qualifications in fundraising

**Other requirements for this role**:

- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and foster mutually beneficial relationships with supporters
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Excellent event management skills
- Current driver’s license
- Some out of hours work will be required
- Some inter/intra state travel will be required
