Unique opportunity for a skilled HR professional to start a generalist position for a national company

**Your new company**
Our client works in the over 50’s lifestyle resorts and aged care industries and is experiencing a period of rapid growth. Their head office is based centrally on the Gold Coast and provides support to the entire organisation. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to provide HR support on a full-time permanent basis.

**Your new role**
This busy role will see you responsible for:

- Reporting to the HR Manager
- Playing a key role in the end-to-end implementation of the HR function and day-to-day HR operations across multiple entities
- Travelling to sites to meet with Managers
- Assisting with recruitment and selection processes
- Owning and managing the full on-boarding and off-boarding of all employees across different entities
- Creating and maintaining employee personnel files
- Coordinating training and development requirements and programs
- Spearheading the deployment of HR programs and initiatives
- Promoting a culture of best practice and continuous improvement
- Undertaking HR investigations

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role or higher
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of employment legislation, compliance and best practice
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or Business (desirable)
- Problem solving and time management skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to travel as required with a current C class licence
