**About the Role**
At the heart of their operations, Norco has developed a mutual connection for people to be involved both commercially and socially with the business. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, and as part of the broader People and Culture team you will support your client groups to achieve strategic and operational goals. This contract will provide opportunities for growth and development, with a team willing to support you into potential permanency with the company.
You will confidently provide advice across recruitment, employee relations, training, retention and performance management. Your commitment to delivering exceptional people outcomes will be evident in your ability to engage the current and future workforce. This role will also give you the opportunity to gain exposure to people projects and streamline processes. This is a varied role, where you can have immediate impact to drive Norco’s people capability and culture. Day-to-day you will:
- Provide advice to leaders on the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
- Take a lead on recruitment for the business, ensuring best-practice operations from end-to-end.
- Provide advice in the areas of talent management, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, industrial relations, and policies and procedures.
- Participate in case management for compliance, wellbeing, and Code of Conduct related issues.
- Facilitate and assist in cultural initiatives and projects, ensuring employees are engaged and empowered.

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Experience contributing to a thriving HR function in a generalist or recruitment capacity.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of relevant Human Resources, WHS and employment legislation, regulations and industry trends.
- Ability to effectively prioritise responsibilities when required.
