**The Company**
Our client is a multi-million-dollar meat processing business with export accredited facilities in Victoria and Tasmania. The business has grown over six generations to be a significant player in the Australian domestic and export meat industry. They are continually focused on staff training and aim to produce the best quality product according to customer's requirements and specifications.

**Role**
They are now looking for an experienced, professional Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Officer to work in their finance and administration team based in Melbourne.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collate delivery dockets from the sales and distribution teams from all 3 companies/sites
- Investigate invoice discrepancies by liaising with the sales and distribution teams, and customers, to identify the source of the discrepancy and resolve the situation
- Acting on advice from the distribution teams, issue credit notes to customers for goods returned***
Monitor and regularly follow up on outstanding debts
- Escalate where customers fail to meet their payment obligations***
Capture the data from the Livestock/cattle reports (for all 3 sites) into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system to generate payment entries for authorisation
- Maintain the CAPEX asset register by checking credit invoices received against the general ledger account

**Requirements**:

- Accounting in year 12 would be beneficial
- High level of attention to detail
- Data entry skills
- Numbers oriented
- Strong EXCEL and systems & reporting skills
- Systematic and organized
- Entry level, no prior experience required.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous
