Perfect opportunity for an HR Officer to join a highly reputable school a temporary basis

**Your new company**

Our client is a prestigious school on the northern end of the beautiful Gold Coast. A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join their team as soon as possible on a temporary basis to provide support during a very busy period of the year. There is a very high potential of the right person being offered a permanent position in the New Year.

**Your new role**

This busy role will see you responsible for:

- Reporting into the HR Manager
- Provide support to the recruitment function including onboarding and inductions
- Being the first point of contact for any HR related queries
- Reporting and administrative tasks for the HR team and assisting payroll
- Preparing and amending HR documents
- Organising and maintaining employee records
- Coordination of workplace injuries, both work related and non-work related including liaising with WorkCover Insurers, injured workers, and Managers to coordinate claim lodgment, Return to Work and meet all statutory obligations.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

- A drive to progress your career in the Human Resources space within the Education industry
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Recent HR Administration experience and/or tertiary qualifications (2 years’ experience)
- You must be professional, approachable, have excellent communication skills and time management details with attention to detail
- Understanding of HR related legislation and regulations
