This is a key role within the finance team, comprising the Accounts Payable function, with other ad-hoc finance tasks as required. The role can be office based or blended with working from home. This permanent part-time position is initially for 20 hour per week, spread over a 4 or 5 day working week.

**From an operational and delivery perspective, the Accounts Payable Officer will**:

- Process Supplier Invoices & Credit Notes and investigate any variances.
- Maintain accurate records & documentation for all AP transactions.
- Co-ordinate with internal & external parties to resolve any issues.
- Account Reconciliations.
- Prepare weekly payment runs.
- Reconcile vendor account balances in the ledger to vendor statements where available.
- Assist vendors with queries in relation to invoices and payments.
- Ensure all relevant contact and bank details are up to date in the ledger.
- Check and process employee expense claims.
- Assisting with month-end close process, including accruals, reconciliations & reporting.

**To be successful in this role you will have experience as an Accounts Payable Officer**
**role within a similar company. You will have experience across the following**:

- Self-driven with good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience in Accounts Payable or similar role.
- ERP experience - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office suite to perform a variety of tasks (primarily Word and Excel).
- English language proficient (read, writes, speak & understand).
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping & Accounts Payable principles.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and completes tasks (a finisher).
- Self-driven with good time management and prioritisation skills.
- A team player that can also ensure individual workload is successfully delivered.
- Excellent organisational skills, analytical skills & ability to work with numbers.
