Payroll Officer

ACCOUNTS - PAYROLL CLERK: Permanent, Full Time (38 hours per week)

Queensland Sheet Metal is a sheet metal manufacturing company that produces roofing and rainwater goods. Due to expanding shifts and business, a role has become available in the accounts team. The payroll clerk will be reporting to the Accounts Manager and Head of Finance.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Good communication
Experience in payroll preferred (use of Wageloch, Xero, or other payroll software)
Eye for detail. The payroll clerk will work the day shift, Monday to Friday with a small team in the office.

A multifaceted position the role includes:

- Checking the time system with overtime sheets and completing time records online.
Processing leave forms.
Creating and maintaining employee records.
Submitting timesheets on system for approval.
Processing credit card payments.

General other administrative duties including filing / record keeping.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- NORTHGATE, QLD 4013: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
