Southern Cross Care Qld is currently looking for
**you** to join us as an
**Aged Care Worker in the role of a Domestic and Kitchen Hand at our Conelly Court Residential Aged Care Home in Edens Landing**. These are
**casual** positions initially with the prospect of leading to permanent part time roles.

As a Catering assistant/Kitchen Hand we are looking for you to take pride in meal preparation and ensuring that our residents get nutritious meals in accordance with the requirements of the Food Safety Program. You will also ensure that the kitchen and equipment is maintained in a safe, hygienic and tidy manner. In this dual role as an Aged Care worker you will also be required to undertake cleaning duties around our home.

**More about you**:

- You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide high quality meals
- Experience in a similar role or commercial kitchen
- Good Communication skills both written and verbal
- Have experience working in an aged care or health-related facility (desired but not essential)
- Time, task and priority management
- Reliable work history and flexibility with your availability
- Knowledge of WH&S and handling of food
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and flu
