As a Casual Mental Health Support Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance to individuals with disabilities in various tasks and activities. This may include personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments or outings. Your role will be crucial in helping our clients live independently and improve their quality of life.

To excel in this role, you should have a compassionate and caring nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Experience in the disability support sector is preferred but not required - we are more interested in finding someone who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years Experience with Mental Health Clients
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a national police check
- Need staff on Both North and South side of Brisbane
- Permanent resident of Australia, NO visa sponsorship available
- Availability to work on a casual basis, including weekends and evenings

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Epilepsy / Seizure: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
