**The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is Australia's most awarded 3D animation, game development and visual effects educator with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Online. AIE is a not-for-profit organisation with a commitment to delivering high quality, specialist vocational and higher education.**

AIE Sydney is looking for a Game Art and 3D Animation Teacher that has worked in industry to come and join the team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Delivering the course content using a combination of practical tutorials, lectures and one to one support
- Planning, creation and development of new course materials, including creation of lesson plans and tutorials
- Advising and assisting students on both creative and technical issues
- Monitoring student progress including attendance, coursework, informal and formal assessment

**Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- A passion for 3D animation and being creative
- Practical, up-to-date knowledge of Maya and at least two of the following:ZBrush

Substance Painter
Photoshop
Unity
Unreal
Nuke
Renderman
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm to work with students and pass on your knowledge and skills

**Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Formal qualification in a related area
- Experience in Game or Film Industry
- Character rigging and animation skills
- Experience using game engines (eg: Unity, Unreal)
- A relevant qualification and Certificate IV TAE
- 3+ years industry experience in game development, 3D animation or visual FX
