About Us

Rosehill College is a nationally registered training organisation (RTO) based in Ultimo, Sydney, delivering high-quality vocational education to domestic and international students.

We are expanding our Building and Construction training portfolio and are seeking a Contract Trainer & Assessor to deliver Certificate III in Flooring Technology and Tiling.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified trades professional with experience in flooring or wall and floor tiling who enjoys sharing their skills with others.

This role offers flexible hours, with practical workshops mainly held on weekends at our Ultimo campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess units from CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent).
  • Facilitate practical sessions and competency assessments in a workshop environment.
  • Maintain training records in compliance with Standards for RTOs 2015.
  • Provide feedback and support to help students achieve competency.
  • Participate in validation and moderation activities when required.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
  • Trade qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling or Flooring Technology (e.g. CPC31320 or CPC31311).
  • Minimum 3 years of current industry experience.
  • Knowledge of WHS, NCC, and Australian Standards.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering training in an RTO or TAFE setting.
  • Experience working with apprentices or international students.
  • Availability for weekend delivery and flexible scheduling.
