Change Manager

**Your opportunity**:
Digital & Information is responsible for digitally both enabling Urban Utilities today and transforming future capability to enable provision of digital services to our customers, community and people. The group is accountable to formulate and execute Urban Utilities’ digital & data strategy, deliver Urban Utilities digital portfolio and provide day-to-day operations of Information Technology (IT), Operating Technology (OT), data, and the Internet of Things (IOT), including security, infrastructure management, system administration, network operations, and support services.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about change and eager to build their career in a digitally driven environment. Reporting to the Digital Infrastructure Readiness Lead, you’ll work closely with experienced change professionals, project teams, and stakeholders to help ensure that our people are ready, supported, and engaged through technology-driven change.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development and delivery of change management strategies and plans to support digital projects and upgrades.
- Contribute to change impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, and readiness activities across business areas.
- Help create communication materials, training resources, and engagement plans to support successful change adoption.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather feedback and ensure people’s needs are being addressed.
- Support change reporting and track adoption progress, risks, and issues.
- Collaborate with experienced Change Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to align change activities with project goals.
- Promote positive change experiences by supporting behavioural alignment and reinforcing key messages.

**About you**:
You’re in the early stages of your change management career and keen to grow in a dynamic, digitally focused environment. You’re people-oriented, curious, and thrive on helping others navigate change with clarity and confidence.

You’ll bring:

- Some experience or exposure to change management, organisational development, or communications - ideally within digital or IT environments.
- A strong interest in digital technologies and how they impact people, teams, and business operations.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for a broad audience.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and enthusiasm for learning.
- A resilient, adaptable approach with a focus on positive outcomes for people and the business.
- Integrity, professionalism, and an inclusive mindset, with an understanding of compliance or security protocols (e.g., SOCI) where relevant.
