**About the Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Category Lead to join our team and focus on our**Marketing and IT procurement categories. In this impactful role, you will support and drive the execution of sourcing, category management, tendering, purchasing, contract management, and supplier management activities across these critical categories. Partnering closely with the Head of Indirect Procurement and our Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing procurement strategies to maximize value and align with the unique demands of Marketing and IT.

In addition, you will leverage deep industry insights to optimize supplier performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure best-in-class procurement practices. This role requires an initiative-taking approach to managing supplier relationships and executing strategic category plans that not only meet current business objectives but also anticipate future growth and innovation. With the role responsible for category spend across the breadth of TAG, incorporating our businesses across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

**What your days looks like**:

- Own all buying decisions across assigned categories, implementing the Procurement Strategy to drive operational and financial success.
- Oversee all procurement activities, including Category Management, RFI/RFP processes, Supplier Management, cost forecasting, and SAP data maintenance.
- Lead procurement and supply decisions for all innovation initiatives within the categories.
- Ensure excellence in quality, service, risk management, and spend across categories, maintaining high standards and efficient operations.
- Proactively identify and manage supply risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience within the category.
- Help shape best practice Indirect procurement across the full reach of The Arnott’s Group.

**The Ingredients for Success**:

- 3+ years of procurement experience, with a strong foundation across indirect categories and a broad understanding of category dynamics and strategic sourcing.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams, demonstrating effective people management and collaboration skills.
- Proven procurement or commercial negotiation expertise, with a focus on achieving optimal value and long-term benefits.
- High level of financial and analytical acumen, essential for data-driven decision-making and budget management.
- Experience within FMCG industry, preferred but not essential.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
