**About the Company**
This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications Advisor to work for a large NSW government organization. This is a 12 month contract and is located in the Sydney CBD.

**About the Role**
- Produce digital content using a range of technologies with a focus on website publishing.
- Manage internal and external digital platforms to ensure the content is current, relevant, accurate, and complies with Treasury’s requirements.
- Provide support for business unit events.
- Act as the quality control check for all internal channels to ensure consistency, relevancy and timeliness
- Provide excellent customer service and a user-focused approach to digital publishing
- Ensuring digital assets effectively comply with the requirements of the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and related legislative requirements such as Government Information Public Access (GIPA) Act, State Records Act, records management, privacy and security
- Delivery of web publishing training and content approvals to staff across the Treasury cluster
- Support the Digital Team in other activities as required

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in working with a range of digital communications products including intranet and internet websites in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience in internal or external communications.
- Strong written and verbal skills and an open communication style.
- Basic multimedia production skills i.e., video editing with Canva or Adobe Premier Pro
- Sound knowledge of, and strong ability to manage Content Management Systems - familiarity with SharePoint, Drupal and Squiz will be highly regarded
- Attention to detail with excellent planning and organisation skills.
