Melbourne- Ancillary Areas- Contract or TemporaryOur client is a prominant global financial services firm seeking an IT Project Coordinator for a 4 month contract to project manage an office relocation.

**Job pupose**: Ensure all IT components are delivered and implemented according to schedule to meet the office move target in Feb 2021.

**Key responsibilites**:

- Supervise the Comms room construction work and handover from main builder.
- Ensure successful testing and commission of the Comms room is complete (ie electrical, UPS, air conditioning, fire suppression system, environmental monitoring system etc)
- Supervise the handover of the Trading rooms including test and commission and results are documented.
- Attend to Vendor, Contractors and Telcos for their services to be installed.
- Accept and receive of IT equipment delivery.
- Assist/Supervise rack and stack of IT equipment including existing IT equipment from the old office
- Assist/Supervise IT equipment setup in the Trading rooms
- Assist in Netapp installation and commission
- Assist in firewall infrastructure installation and commission
- Supervise Audio Visual installation and commission of AV facilities in boardroom, training rooms and meeting rooms
- Assist in imaging of PC/laptop
- Manage move such as PC, laptop, monitors, telephone, printers, fax to the new location
- Decommission of the old office site including network circuits, voice circuits disposal of IT equipment etc
- Oversees the consulting, acquisition, implementation, and support of PC, LAN, WAN, and telecommunications systems
- Regular project onsite supervision is required to ensure delivery of IT services are accordingly to plan

**Knowledge and Experience required**:

- Knowledge of networks, database or operating systems, PC/LAN/WAN telecommunications technologies, and information security technology.
- A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and preferably with MCSA, MCSE, CCNA certifications
