**IT Service Desk Manager**

This permanent opportunity is for our client based in Sydney CBD.

**To succeed in this role,**
- You will be collaborative and approachable with proven experience managing Level 1-2 IT Support professionals.
- You will be the escalation point and will possess the necessary skill to resolve difficult issues.
- You will be a friendly and engaged leader with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- You will have proven experience working as an IT Team Leader.
- You will have experience working across IT Operations and Service Desk functions.

**What we are looking for**
- Strong leadership skills coupled with good people skills.
- ITIL certification (desirable)
- Strong Technical acumen and Troubleshooting skills
- Experienced in helpdesk / desktop support and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows 10/11,
- Knowledge Windows 2016/2019 server
- Knowledge of MAC OS and networking
- Experience in Server Virtualisation (i.e VMware)
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- TCP/IP & Networking knowledge
- IT Security knowledge
- Industry recognised certifications such as Microsoft MCP (desirable)
- Ability to manage a small team in a busy environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise & work to deadlines
- Available after hours and weekends as required, to maintain service levels
- Taking ownership of issues escalated to 3rd party external vendors.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in a senior role.
- Suitable Qualifications and a degree in IT, eg. VMWare Certification, MSCE...
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge in systems infrastructure, networking, monitoring and supporting tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
