Toowoomba Deck Maintenance is a locally owned family business. We specialise in the quality restoration and
maintenance of residential decks. Over the past three years, our business has grown, and we need an

**experienced Finance Officer to**:

- Process accounts receivable and payable
- Process payroll and lodge superannuation
- Process payment of contractors
- Balance and reconcile accounts
- Monitor cashflow and payment of invoices
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS
- Prepare a budget with forecast for growth, and monitor targets
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial and business health reports
- Identify areas for improvement and efficiency
- Ensure financial and regularity compliance

As this is a newly created role, we need an experienced and independent worker to take on the role of Finance
Officer to ease the load on the Business Manager. It’s a hands-on role, where systems and processes need finetuning and a can-do attitude is encouraged.

**You are**:

- Experience as a Finance Officer or Bookkeeper, looking for a job that fits with your home life or other

work commitments
- Familiar with and a believer in the Profit First approach
- Excited about growing businesses
- Able to communicate financial concepts clearly
- Confident with being accountable for the business financial management, paying attention to detail, and

using systems to structure your work outputs
- A fan of Xero, and know how to get the most out of it
