Assistant to The Creative Director

A unique opportunity has arisen for an Assistant to the Creative Director to join Aje. Based at new Sydney Head Office and reporting directly to the Creative Director, this role will see you responsible for alleviating undue pressures on the Creative Director by removing administrative tasks. By setting the Creative Director up for success through calendar management, correspondence and offering additional support across a variety of projects, you will optimise the opportunity for the Creative Director to focus on strategic and creative tasks that are vital to the growth of the business. No two days will be the same so we require someone who can roll with the motion (that is fashion) and get the task done - no matter how big or small.

**As an Assistant to the Creative Director, your tasks will include**:

- Controlling access to the Creative Director through managing the Creative Directors calendar and schedule
- Clearly and regularly communicate the calendar and schedule to the Creative Director and internal and external stakeholders
- Responding to creative briefs and requests at the discretion of the Creative Director such as conducting research, creating mood boards and collating general documentation
- Assisting the Creative Director with fashion show and event preparation
- Regularly perusing relevant online and print publications and digitally filing any inspiring fashion and / or imagery
- Providing general personal and professional support to the Creative Director

**You will bring**:

- Experience or a degree in personal assistant, journalism or design is desirable
- Passion and understanding of fashion within the global and Australian markets
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, FinalCut/Premiere
- Eye for detail and strong visual understanding of brand DNA
- Forward planning and priority assessment to ensure all tasks allocated are met with the ability to organise competing priorities across the Creative Directors and personal daily tasks
- Excellent copy writing and communication skills
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Accuracy, efficiency, ownership and passion in all allocated tasks: A willingness to complete all tasks given
- A strong personality that is not afraid to be assertive in order to keep the Creative Director to schedule
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposed solutions for or on behalf of the Creative Director
- Pride in personal presentation
- Drivers license desirable
