Whilst not imitating the stereotypical nature of a state school environment, QACI opened its 7 storey state-of-the-art purpose-designed campus in 2007. Located in Kelvin Grove Urban Village within 2km of inner-city Brisbane, students enjoy campus life in a multicultural village environment with shared green, business and education spaces co-located in the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) creative industries precinct.
We are a selective entry independent senior state high school for students in Years 10-12, attracting a diverse range of students with shared attributes and interests. QACI learners seek a rich and integrated academic curriculum and collaborative learning experiences.
**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Highly desirable but not essential, experience with International Baccalaureate curriculum.
