As the Raytheon Australia Maintenance Manager you will be working within the Raytheon Australia's Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) facility, assisting the Senior Maintenance Manager (Responsible Manager) with overall technical governance and Defence Aviation Safety Regulations compliance for the contracted Off Aircraft maintenance for equipment as fitted to the RAAF’s F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft.

The work on these components is in support of Raytheon Australia’s Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (AEASP) and is crucial for the operational capability of the RAAF’s frontline combat aircraft.

**Key Responsibilities of the role;**
- Manage and co-ordinate maintenance activities to facilitate aeronautical component production within ADF Technical and Regulatory airworthiness guidelines.
- Working with ILM workshop staff and Technical Team Leads to address maintenance related issues,
- Working with the ILM Production Controller to ensure that production targets are met,
- Work closely with the Program Senior Maintenance Manager (Responsible Manager) and Quality Manager to ensure Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) and ISO certifications are achieved and maintained.
- Undertake the role of Aviation Safety Manager for the Program,
- Manage, mentor, train and conduct Performance Development Evaluations for Technical Team Leads.
- Undertake Recruitment activities for Technical Staff as required.

**Skills, Experiences and Qualifications for the role**:

- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) or national equivalent qualification.
- Hold or have the ability to gain, Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) Form 4 Holder Responsible Manager accreditation.
- Hold Engineers Australia Chartered status or meet the criteria to gain the qualification.
- Experience or qualifications in Aviation Safety Management Systems.
- User familiarity with the ADF Computer Aided Maintenance Management 2 (CAMM2) system.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance (Negative Vetting 1 level).
