The Company

The Role

As a Data Manager in KBR’s Advisory Team, you will work directly with our Defence and Space clients to provide the following:
Research technical information and work with technical stakeholders to align data between asset management systems.

Support development of basic Structured Querying Language (SQL) queries

Interpret and manipulate relational and object-oriented database schemas.

Provide Data Analysis support to internal and external client stakeholders.

Assist in the conversion of various data formats in preparation for upload into a component of the Data Management Environment

Assist in the validation of various data formats and provide feedback (written and verbal) to the originator with recommended solutions

Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes including discussion and written processes.

Contribute to the Data Assurance frameworks in place across the data management environment through the execution of processes including Security/Access Management, Data Integrity and Data Alignment.

Provide written and verbal communication to internal and external client stakeholders.

Actively participate in in team working environment consisting of internal and external client stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

2 + years Database Administration Experience

Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information to solve complex problems, e.g. in physics, mathematics, or engineering

Data Management Experience in a Defence (CIOG) or Government environment

Qualifications or Certification (or demonstrated experience) in at least one of the following:

- SQL Server databases
- Ingres Database
- Oracle
- Tableau
- Power BI

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Document writing skills including authoring of processes and procedures, internal training material and preparation of reports from the data management system
